Igor Zelensky

The soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Ballet Company, was born on the 13th of July 1969 in the city of Lavinsk, Krasnodarsky region. Finished Tbilisi Choreographic School in 1987. Two years studied in the class of perfection at Leningrad Choreographic School named after Vaganova. Since 1989 has been dancing in the Kirovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre (now it is the Mariinsky Theatre). The leading roles: Don Quixote - Basil Swan Lake - Zigfrid Le Corsaire - Ali La Bayadere - Solor Giselle - Albert He works on contracts in many famous ballet companies in Europe and the USA. Was awarded gran-prix and golden medal of the International competition of ballet dancers in Paris, has rewards from Italien cinematographists "Prie de Lumier".
